West & Crown is a veteran-owned media and communications consultancy built to help people move with purpose, clarity, and confidence. Whether you're in TV news, public service, or just trying to level up your career, we're here to guide you with strategy that actually makes sense.
The name comes from two places close to my heart. "West" is for West Philadelphia, where I spent every week with my grandmother, Joyce, as a kid. Her home was filled with warmth, advice, and old-school wisdom. She used to say, "Keep your crown on straight," meaning carry yourself with pride, especially when you're navigating big decisions or stepping into rooms where you might not feel seen. That message stayed with me through my time in the Air Force, in the newsroom, and now as a communications pro helping others do the same.
I'm Marc Thomas, the founder of West & Crown. My background includes military service, time as a main TV news anchor, and years of experience in public affairs and strategic communications. I've worked in high-pressure roles and know what it's like to build a career with limited guidance. So I built a company that gives people the real tools, support, and straight-up strategy I wish I had.
